Mavic Tourmalet shoes

The new Mavic Tourmalet shoes are now in stock!

The shoe has three Velcro straps with the Kevlar and Aramid cable giving a smooth pull to bring the shoe together. There is also the Ergo Lite toe cap in front protecting the shoe from scuffs. The upper has the mesh and synthetic leather stitched together, simpler than the bonded construction. The sole is also a simpler-to-construct yet harder-to-explain Alutex sole. This sole is made of aluminum-enhanced nylon as well as synthetic glass fiber. The shoe's interior is highlighted by the Ergo Fit 2D insole. It's a two-density composite that has a high-density cradle for the heel and is covered with an anti-bacterial treatment.

The Tourmalet comes in sizes 7-12 in whole and half sizes. The shoes come with "recommended length" screws for the threaded inserts in the outsole. The weight (for a size 8.5 shoe) 285g per shoe.

More Mavic shoes to come....

New Gore clothing in stock

Yes spring is almost here, the sun is fantastic and it is time to get a few new pieces to liven up your cycling wardrobe. You will feel so inspired to get out on your bike when you have something so well designed as the new Gore products. Anyway it works for me... though I am quite good at justifying purchases.

My favourite jersey for women is the Countdown, it creates a lovely silhouette with caps sleeves, no elastic on the hips, ruching along the princess seams making the fit quite amazing. It is available in black (in stock) or a soft red which we can easily order in.

Coincidentally the men's version of the Countdown jersey is the one I prefer find
the most attractive colour way.

If you
prefer a more fitted style the oxygen jersey is similar in colour but has a really nice 3/4 length invisible zip in an ultra soft lycra with reflective piping on the sleeve.
